blogging in the nursery today !

Summer Holidays

I think it was Maxabella who once said blogging was a Winter sport.
I have a tendency to agree !

Our Christmas was pretty hectic.
The kids, farm and family neglected
after pursuing the tree business for a solid four months
meant some serious down time for us all.

After Christmas my sister's cafe hit full swing,
and many hours of washing dishes ensued.

So finding time out of doors,
with the kids and garden
or simply a coffee watching the birds flit from tree to tree in the evening light
 has over ridden any urgency to blog.

And then we had a great big holiday !

now for a bit of catching up . . . . . 

all in the family

well she's done it !

My little sister after working for years

at someones else's cafe or restaurant

has opened her own

today sees Sam kick off

into the world of self employment

and emerging from the kitchen

to meet the people who eat her food

rather then just stuck behind a stove

all the family have been on hand to launch her

and support from friends old and new has

seen Sam have a wonderful first day of business

Good on you Sam !
